History

Younger than he looks, Nyk is very tired for his age. Prey is rare now; the hunt is hard. Even moreso when Nykhit, his baby nephew, becomes his responsibility. Natural fires stripped their flourishing land bare, and they wait for it to replenish as it always does...but the wait is long.
He is longsuffering and tough, a horned cat beast who would be admired were he not so grim. Those whom he deems unworthy will never feel his forgiveness, though since the acquiration of a younger ward, he has grown softer. His own history, mucked in family affairs, has led him to drag his claws, but the little guy may just be the spirit to pull him back to his normal senses.

History

Only vaguely aware of the circumstances that led him to be under Nykhit's care, he's very forgetful, airheaded, and careless; after all, he is a child, and a lot of work for the older Raykah. He will find the good in almost any situation, though his insight is shallow. He feels he has an obligation to keep his uncle in cheer, which more than often creates awkward conflict with Nyk's personality.
